A judge in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, ruled on Friday that a 2005 phone conversation between Bill Cosby and the mother of one of his sexual assault accusers can be used at the comedian’s trial and admitted as prosecutorial evidence. Cosby and his lawyers had asked Judge Steven T. O’Neill to deny the jury from listening to the phone call, which Cosby’s attorneys said was recorded by accuser Andrea Constand’s mother without his consent. Cosby’s trial will begin on June 5, 2017.
