A federal judge has approved a $765 million settlement for National Football League head-injury claims for retired players. The settlement caps off two years of negotiations, though opponents say the money is not enough and are expected to appeal. Five thousand ex-NFL players accused the league of negligence and failing to tell players about links between head impacts and long-term brain injuries. Most players endorsed the agreement.
