Judge: Probable Cause in AZ Cop Shooting

IMPENDING CHARGE

Could face second-degree murder.

A judge in Phoenix, Arizona determined on Monday that there is probable cause to charge former Mesa police officer Philip Mitchell Brailsford with second-degree murder. He is accused of shooting and killing unarmed 26-year-old Daniel Shaver earlier this year at a local La Quinta Inn. Brailsford had already been fired by his department.
