A Montgomery County judge denied Bill Cosby’s request for a new trial and reduced sentence Tuesday, according to a tweet from Digital First Media reporter Carl Hessler Jr. “Following an exhaustive review of the record, the Court has determined that no hearing or argument is required on the issues raised,” the court document read. As The Daily Beast previously reported, Cosby was sentenced in late September to 3 to 10 years in prison for sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in 2004.
