Eleven more Beta Theta Pi fraternity members at Penn State are headed to trial after a judge ruled Monday that prosecutors had enough evidence to pursue “hazing and alcohol-related criminal charges” against them after the death of a pledge last year, according to the Associated Press. All 11 members will face at least one count of hazing and at least one alcohol-related charge. Tim Piazza died in February 2017 when he suffered “severe head and abdominal injuries” during a bid acceptance ceremony. Piazza reportedly fell down the frat house’s basement stairs while heavily intoxicated. A judge previously sent 14 other members to trial for the same incident.
