Judge Sends Adrian Peterson Back to Play

BACK AGAIN

Lifts his suspension.

Adrian Peterson will be reinstated to play in the National Football League after a judge granted the NFL Players Association’s motion to vacate the running back’s suspension. Peterson was suspended from the Minnesota Vikings after a September incident in which he was charged with reckless or negligent injury to his 4-year-old son. The judge also sided with the union’s argument that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell acted outside his authority by suspending Peterson.
