A judge refused to drop charges Wednesday against police officers charged in the death of Baltimore man Freddie Gray. Defense lawyers had argued that prosecutor Marilyn Mosby “adopted and encouraged the public’s cry of ‘No justice, no peace’” when announcing the charges, thereby tainting the jury pool. All six officers charged have pleaded not guilty. All six officers will be tried separately.
