Kai Trump gave a behind-the-scenes look at the inauguration weekend, featuring Elon Musk and her grandpa. Kai, Donald Trump Jr.‘s daughter posted a vlog of her attending MAGA events leading up to President Donald Trump’s inauguration, giving him a shoutout for ‘saving’ TikTok after it shut down nationwide. “Thanks grandpa, he took one for the team,” Kai said in her hotel room. “I kept on going to the app to scroll, and it just said it was banned.” The 17-year-old planned on capturing all of the inauguration events for her YouTube channel, where she has shown her life as the granddaughter of the president. Kai attended the MAGA rally on Monday, taking the stage with her dad. “Thank you for all the support the past decade, and we’re looking forward to the next four years,” Kai said on stage. “And God bless America.” She was then seen shaking hands with billionaire Musk, who was joined by his young son X, backstage. Kai also attended the new president’s candlelight dinner and showed her grandpa talking to the crowd. “I just want to say thank you very much and God bless you all,” Trump said. “We’re going to have a great four years.” The next part of her series on the inauguration is expected to be released Tuesday on her YouTube channel. “He is back,” she posted to X after Trump’s swearing in. “Love you grandpa, I know you will do an amazing job over the next 4 years.”
