Kaine: Trump Gun Remarks Incite Violence

Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine said on Sunday morning that he believes Donald Trump was inciting violence when he suggested that Hillary Clinton’s security detail not have firearms and “let’s see what happens to her.” Trump used that line in order to attack Clinton on gun rights. Kaine said both he and Clinton support the Second Amendment. “He is using language that is an incitement to violence or an encouragement of violence ... and that has no place in any election, especially an election to be president and commander-in-chief of this country,” Kaine said on Fox News Sunday, referring also to Trump’s previous remarks about “Second Amendment people” acting against a Clinton presidency.
