Kanye West, America's top expert at pissing audiences off, faced booing and hecklers during his first performance at London’s Wireless Festival on Friday. During a break between songs, West launched into one of his customary anti-media speeches, telling the audience, “I’m not particularly angry but they’ve taken the idea of celebrity and tried to make me seem like I’m stupid or something. People keep looking at me like I got a problem or something, like I’m not doing something I’m meant to. The lies, the media, they want to make you feel like you’re less to them in their eye.” West also aired his grievances against fashion brands Nike and Louis Vuitton, but audience members began leaving the venue in droves and booing and heckling. West is slated to perform again on Saturday, as he agreed to fill in for Drake, who announced he is currently too sick to perform.
