Kanye West will return to the stage at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards—but this time, he’ll be invited there. A source told Us Weekly that the performer, who famously crashed Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech last year, will perform at the show. If it’s true, West will join Florence and The Machine, Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, Pink, 30 Seconds to Mars, Katy Perry, and Usher onstage. It would make sense, too: The VMAs air September 12—the day after West is set to release his upcoming album.
