Kara DioGuardi After American Idol: Going Platinum
Will be head judge on Bravo’s Going Platinum.
There’s life after American Idol for judge Kara DioGuardi: She’ll be the head judge on Going Platinum, a new Bravo reality-TV show. The show will be hosted by the singer Jewel, and will bring 12 singer/songwriters together under one roof. They’ll all compete for $100,000 in addition to a publishing deal with Sony. Contestants will face songwriting challenges “from dance track to love ballad,” and episodes will feature themes that will require the contestants “to write and perform lyrics from multiple genres,” according to Bravo.
