Republican presidential hopeful John Kasich promised this week that, if elected, he would reunite legendary prog-rock band Pink Floyd. Kasich told a campaign audience that his favorite concert was in Pittsburgh, during the band’s The Wall tour. The Ohio governor called Roger Waters an “incredible artist,” adding, “Since we have so much trouble in America with our finances, I’m going to start with a little song they created called ‘Money.’” The Daily Beast reached out to the band’s two main figures, David Gilmour and Roger Waters, and did not receive comment.
