Actress Selma Blair and her fashion designer boyfriend Jason Bleick celebrated this past New Year's with some particularly happy news. The two announced in mid-January that they were expecting their first child. "They are ecstatic," a friend told People magazine. "They couldn't be happier." As the temperature rose, Blair took some time to relax in the sun in this pink floral string bikini with an accompanying cowboy hat.

Like many pregnant women, Kate Hudson has decided to keep her baby's gender a surprise until he or she arrives. "It's hard because you go to a store and you see a little outfit, and it's like a little tiny skirt and you're like, 'Ahhhh! We can't buy it, we gotta wait.' The only expectation that you have is for it to be a healthy baby and then you meet it instead of knowing," the actress told Access Hollywood. Though this will be Hudson's first child with now fiancé, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, the romantic comedy star has a 7-year-old son, Ryder, from her previous marriage to Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson. "I already can't wait to have another one," Hudson told Marie Claire recently. "I love being pregnant. Gosh, I could be pregnant all the time."

Jessica Alba took to her Facebook page to announce her happy news this February. In early May, just after turning 30, she seemed all too pleased to show off her belly during a belated birthday trip to Mexico. As Alba did with her nearly 3-year-old daughter Honor, the actress plans to practice HypnoBirthing. Alba recently told Ellen DeGeneres that in one relaxation exercise during labor, her husband Cash Warren will conduct a guided meditation and say something to the effect of, "You're relaxed and you're floating on clouds." Alba explained, "Normally I want to strangle him, but at that moment it's sort of calming and wonderful."

While Pink and her husband, motocross-racer Carey Hart, have a feeling they'll be welcoming a girl, the couple has chosen not to find out the baby's gender prior to the birth. "I have a life inside me, and I want her or him to know that I will accept him or her with open and loving and welcoming arms," Pink blogged. She and Hart rekindled their romance and saved their marriage in 2009. When Pink discussed her pregnancy last November on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she said, "I worked for it… It was not an 'oops.'"
