Kate: William Needs a Fashion Make Over

It’s tough when your dad’s hipper than you. But that seems to be the case for poor old Prince William. For while his Dad’s something of a clothes horse (Charles owns more than a hundred pairs of handmade shoes) and consistently tops the men’s best dressed lists, William looks like he dresses from TJ Maxx. In a bad way.

Now to add insult to injury, Dylan Jones, editor of British GQ, has announced that on 14th June, Charles will host a reception at St James Palace to celebrate London menswear.

William may not be bothered about his dress sense, but his wife certainly is. Kate has been spotted dutifully clothes shopping for him in an effort to make his wardrobe more fashionable, at the Gant concession in the Peter Jones department store in Chelsea, as well as at Zara in Kensington High Street.

‘Catherine loves clothes, so it makes sense that she should choose a few things for William,’ a friend of the couple tells The Daily Telegraph
