Is Katy Perry the new Queen of Pop? Aside from Michael Jackson, Perry is the only artist in the last 53 years to have five songs from a single record top Billboard’s weekly Hot 100 list. From her album Teenage Dream, the eponymous lead single “Teenage Dream," “California Gurls,” “Firework,” “E.T.,” and “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” have all been featured at the top of the Billboard list. Although Michael Jackson was quicker to make Billboard history, Perry has spent more time at No. 1 on the Hot 100 list (18 weeks, compared with Jackson’s seven weeks at the top).
