Kazuo Ishiguro Wins Nobel Prize in Literature

Britain’s Kazuo Ishiguro has won the 2017 Nobel Prize in Literature, the academy announced Thursday. The 62-year-old novelist and screenwriter was born in Nagasaki, Japan. He is perhaps best known for works like Never Let Me Go and his 1989 novel The Remains of the Day, which won the Man Booker Prize.
