Kendall Jenner Walks for Givenchy: She strutted down the Marc Jacobs runway in a sheer top in New York, and sat next to Anna Wintour at Topshop’s Fall/Winter 2014 show before taking the Giles catwalk in London. So, it was no surprise that the younger sibling of the Kardashian clan arrived in Paris for fashion season’s final round of shows. On Sunday, the 18-year-old, up-and-coming model appeared on the Givenchy runway donning a python top with a jeweled collar and a semi-sheer black maxi-skirt. Jenner's soon-to-be brother-in-law, Kanye West, beamed with pride as he watched from the front row. Talk about a family affair. [Fashionista]

Uniqlo Speculated to Purchase J. Crew: Tadashi Yanai, Fast Retailing Co.’s founder, wants to turn his empire into the “world’s biggest clothing retailer"—and J. Crew may be his next step. Sources say the Japanese owner of Uniqlo is reportedly in talks to acquire J. Crew for $5 billion. “Uniqlo has expanded overseas by opening stores and acquiring and absorbing businesses that have designing power and brand image,” deputy head of research at JI Asia in Tokyo told Bloomberg. “Having J. Crew would help as it’s the brand people know and that can attract a lot more customers than doing it alone.” [The Daily Beast]
Katie Holmes Parts From Holmes & Yang Label: After five years of collaborating with her one-time stylist, Jeanne Yang, Katie Holmes has decided to walk away from their fashion label, Holmes & Yang, due to “interpersonal conflict,” a source confirmed to Page Six. “Jeanne enjoys the spotlight way more than Katie does,” the source said. “Things have definitely soured between them.” Yang is also reportedly responsible for numerous leaks regarding details of Holmes’s relationship with her former husband, Tom Cruise, following the couple’s divorce. The label has not presented a collection since last February—when it received mediocre reviews—and its social media presence has all but been deactivated. [Page Six]
