According to Kenya’s Interior Ministry, one of the masked gunmen who killed nearly 150 at a university last week was the son of a Kenyan government official. Abdirahim Abdullahi is the son of a government official in the region bordering Somalia. "The father had reported to security agents that his son had disappeared from home... and was helping the police try to trace his son by the time the Garissa terror attack happened," a spokesman for the Interior Ministry said. As a result of the attack on Christians at the university, many churches in the country have hired armed guards for holiday services on Sunday.
