The unnamed man says he was summoned to Spacey’s Malibu, California, home, where the star told him he was experiencing discomfort in the “groin area.” When Spacey tried to get sexual, the therapist told him, “This is ridiculous. I am a professional,” but he refused to stop, according to the court papers. The suit seeks unspecified damages, citing sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The therapist says he also reported the incident to police—but prosecutors declined to comment on whether there will be criminal charges against Spacey, who has been accused of harassment and abuse by a raft of other men.
