Former New York Times columnist Bari Weiss filled the void left by Meghan McCain on Tuesday’s episode of “The View.”
“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin was the only one to offer up a reasonable explanation for Trump’s swift recovery.
If Trump supporters “weren’t smart enough to put a mask on” at one of the president’s rallies, “The View” moderator said they only have themselves to blame.
Whoopi Goldberg was ultimately forced to break up a fight between McCain and co-host Sara Haines over the GOP’s rush to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
“The problem with the story is it seems like something he would do,” Meghan McCain told Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who insisted Trump has nothing but “respect” for the military.
“That interview that I was talking about with Meghan where she thought I wasn’t there and I said I was,” Goldberg concluded. “Well, we found it. I was there.”
“I don’t hold him accountable for his writer’s actions,” Meghan McCain said of Tucker Carlson. Her co-hosts didn’t take it well.
