A Tennessee woman who was kidnapped, beaten and raped was saved by a text message she sent to her sister, which gave police a digital trail that led right to the Louisiana hotel room where she was being held. Recently released convict Lee Meadows, 34, of Clarksville, Tennessee is a suspect in the woman’s kidnapping, according to police. The woman has since been taken to a local hospital with multiple injuries, including broken bones. Meadows surrendered without incident and is imprisoned in Louisiana, pending extradition back to Tennessee.
