Kids Jailed for Refusing Lunch With Dad

Three Michigan children were sent to juvenile detention after refusing to attend a court-ordered lunch with their father in the midst of a heated custody battle. Oakland County Family Court Judge Lisa Gorcyca sentenced Omer and Dr. Maya Eibschitz Tsimhoni’s three children, ages 9 to 15, after finding them to be in contempt of court last month. Judge Gorcyca blamed the mother for brainwashing the children to turn them against their father. “Your children—you need to do a research program on Charlie Manson and the cult that he has. Your behavior in the hall with me months ago, your behavior in this courtroom... is unlike anything I’ve ever seen in 46,000 cases,” said Gorcyca.
