Stephen Pasceri, the man who walked into Brigham and Women’s Hospital and shot a cardiovascular surgeon Tuesday morning, was apparently angry about his mother’s death. According to Pasceri’s brother, he believed the medication his mother had taken had “toxic side effects” and caused her death two months ago. Pasceri killed Dr. Michael Davidson and then shot himself. Police have yet to release an official motive for the killing.
