Ray Tensing, the former University of Cincinnati police officer charged with the murder of black motorist Samuel DuBose, is out on bail less than eight hours after a judge set it at $1 million, according to the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts’ website. The DuBose family had erupted in cheers when the bond was set, at which point the judge asked for calm. Tensing, 25, pleaded not guilty to the murder of DuBose before Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Megan Shanahan.
