North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un has ordered the country’s senior officials not to smoke foreign cigarettes, saying it is a matter of patriotism, the Yonhap news agency reports. Kim, a habitual smoker himself in the tobacco-stained nation, said he sees no need for foreign cigarettes in his country, as domestic ones are of good quality as well, said a person involved in trade with North Korea. It’s not clear what brand Kim himself smokes. His orders may well end imports of foreign cigarettes, but it remains uncertain whether his decree will affect actual consumption of them in his smuggling-prone country.
