Kim Jong Un’s Sister Is Heading to the Winter Olympics
Kim Yo Jong will be joined by 220 North Korean cheerleaders.
There are plenty of downsides to being Kim Jong Un’s sibling, but the North Korean leader’s sister, Kim Yo Jong, will get to attend the Opening Ceremony of the Winter Olympics on Friday. South Korea said the 28-year-old will make her debut in international diplomacy alongside North Korea’s nominal head of state, Kim Yong Nam. They’ll be joined by a 280-strong North Korean delegation, including a massive squad of North Korean cheerleaders who took part in one of the biggest peacetime crossings of the inter-Korean border Tuesday night.
