Kristen Wiig Steals Zoolander 2 Trailer

When Zoolander 2 finally hits theaters next year, all eyes will be on Wiig as the mysterious Alexanya Atoz.

Fifteen years after the original Zoolander bombed in theaters—it arrived just two weeks after 9/11—Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are back for more in Zoolander 2, which got its first real trailer on Wednesday.
Yes, Derek Zoolander and Hansel are still trying to foil international terrorist plots. Yes, there are intriguing new cameos by the likes of Benedict Cumberbatch and Justin Bieber. Yes, Penelope Cruz plays an Interpol agent—“She’s hot, I trust her,” Wilson’s Hansel remarks. And yes, Will Ferrell returns as the best supervillain since Dr. Evil, Mugatu.
But most important of all is the addition of a practically unrecognizable Kristen Wiig as the mysterious Alexanya Atoz. She barely speaks a word of intelligible English in the trailer, but she does give our heroes a look that tells you all you need to know about her scene-stealing potential in the sequel.
