57-year-old Christopher Richard Garcia, a deputy city attorney in Los Angeles, was arrested on Thursday and charged with possession and distribution of child pornography, according to LAPD spokeswoman Liliana Preciado. Authorities served a search warrant to Garcia at his home last November, when “questionable images” were found on his computers and other “electronic evidence” was seized. Garcia has been charged with sending or bringing obscene material into California for sale and possession of material depicting minors engaged in sexual conduct. Jail records show Garcia has since posted $40,000 bond.
