Kaylyn Huval, a 28-year-old former junior high school teacher from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, plead guilty to having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy. She was initially sentenced to ten years in prison but that was suspended when she plead guilty and now has five years of supervised probation. Huval is prohibited from teaching again and also has to register as a sex offender. The mother of the victim filed a lawsuit against the school alleging that the contact had led the student to have emotional and mental problems.
