It's been a good run, ladies. On Thursday, Ladies' Home Journal announced it would cease publication, ending a 131-year run. The magazine launched in 1883, and has a circulation of 3.2 million. Its owner, Meredith Corporation, says the magazine will stop monthly printing in July and will become a special-interest publication starting in the fall. Its website will remain running. "It's not a consumer issue; it's an advertising issue," a spokesman said.
