Music's Big Night

Lady Gaga Dominates VMAs

And Taylor Swift debuts song about Kanye.

Lady Gaga stormed MTV's VMAs on Sunday night, nabbing eight awards out of her record-breaking 13 nominations. Recycling the red, gold, and gauzy gown she wore in a photo shoot for Vanity Fair last September—and later, a dress made of cuts of meat—the outrageous pop singer took home Video of the Year and fulfilled a previous promise to announce the name of her next record if she won. Born This Way, she declared, singing a few notes from the unreleased song. Eminem also fared well, taking home awards for Best Hip Hop Video and Best Male Video. Justin Bieber won Best New Artist. Country darling Taylor Swift debuted a song she wrote about Kanye West, who notoriously robbed her of her big moment at last year's ceremony.
