Lady Gaga Egg, Justin Bieber, Arcade Fire: Watch Grammy Video

From Lady Gaga Singing "Born This Way" in an Egg, to Cee Lo Green and Gwyneth Paltrow's feathery "Forget You," to Arcade Fire's big win, watch the best moments of the Grammy Awards.

From Lady Gaga Singing "Born This Way" in an Egg, to Cee Lo Green and Gwyneth Paltrow's feathery "Forget You," to Arcade Fire's big win, watch the best moments of the Grammy Awards. Plus, view the best of the Grammy’s red carpet.

Puppets and Gwyneth Help Cee Lo ‘Forget You’

Feathers. Puppets. Gwyneth Paltrow. Cee Lo Green sure knows how to put on a show. In what may have been the most exciting (or terrifying) moment of the awards, Green sang his family-safe version of “F*ck You,” aka “The song otherwise known as ‘Forget You.’” And now competing with Lady Gaga for best over-the-top costume of the night…

Gaga Breaks Out of Her Shell

Lady Gaga rolled onto stage in her egg to perform her new single, “Born This Way.” Whether the egg motif is a riff on her her anthem about being yourself, we’re not exactly sure. Her costume, on the other hand, left little to imagination. When she accepted the award for Best Pop Vocal Album for “The Fame Monster,” Gaga gave special thanks to Whitney Houston. This means, of course, someone probably got dissed.

      Aguilera’s Grammy Revenge…Sort of

After fumbling the national anthem at the Super Bowl, Christina Aguilera was set to redeem herself with a powerful tribute to Aretha Franklin. Some thought she killed it, while angry tweeters thought she mumbled the lyrics. And she may have tripped while onstage. Sigh.

      This One’s For the Beliebers

He may have lost the box office this weekend, and most awards, but Justin Bieber and his changing voice made millions of teen girls go wild during the awards. After a brief and touching moment with his mentor Usher, the Biebs was joined on stage with ninjas and the least-known member of the Smith family, Jaden. The two teenyboppers didn’t whip their hair, but rapped instead.

      Mick Meets the Grammys

In his Grammy debut, The Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger performed a tribute to Solomon Burke. Singing “Everybody Needs Somebody to Love,” Jagger brought the audience to its feet—a well-deserved ovation for an excellent performance.

Rogen Disses Miley and Other Awkward Moments

In one of the night’s most awkward moments, Seth Rogen appeared onstage and made a joke about getting high with Miley Cyrus backstage. Uncomfortable laughs. In other news, salvia is still in style! Plus, watch footage of the other awkward moments of the night, including a seemingly unhappily married J.Lo and Marc Anthony, and Nicole Kidman singing “Teenage Dream.”

The World Will Remember Esperanza Spalding

Uh oh. You know when Kanye West tweets about it, it’s a controversy. In one of the shockers of the night, the award for Best New Artist went to Esperanza Spalding and not the iconic teenager from Ontario. Beliebers, this is the person who crushed your dreams.

      Dylan Still Has It

The times may be changing, but not so fast, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber. Bob Dylan joined Mumford & Songs and the Avett Brothers to perform “Maggie’s Farm.” Dylan’s growling rendition may not be for everyone, but after 50 years of stellar music, he can pretty much do whatever he wants at the Grammys.

      Arcade Fire Likes Music

Shortly before winning the big award for Album of the Year, Arcade Fire lit up the stage with their Grammy debut (of which we were reminded during at least five commercial breaks). The band seemed genuinely surprised to win the award, and played a final song because, well, because they “like music.”
