Lady Gaga Meets Julian Assange Wearing Saint Laurent; Facebook May Debut 'Want' Button

Lady Gaga meets Julian Assange: Lady Gaga was the first person to wear Hedi Slimane’s debut spring 2013 collection for Saint Laurent -- albeit to a very unusual place. The pop star wore a complete head-to-toe look (complete with oversized hat) on her way to meet none other than Wikileaks founder Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, where he’s been hiding out for the past few months avoiding extradition to Sweden. No word on the topic of their discussion though—which would probably be the most entertaining element of all. [CNN]

Margiela for H&M ads Leaked: Portions of the Maison Martin Margiela x H&M ad campaign has been leaked. The photos, taken by Sam Taylor-Johnson, show a collection filled with covetable jackets, each featuring the house’s signature sense of disproportionate chic. The ads feature items priced in Chinese yuan, which at current exchange rate come out to between $64 and $237. [Lucky Magazine]

Lena’s Thigh Retaliation: Lena Dunham might have announced her $3.5 million book deal yesterday, but that didn’t stop her from speaking out against thigh-haters at her New Yorker Festival appearance on Sunday. The Girls creator came under internet fire a few weeks ago for wearing tiny shorts, “My response is, get used to it because I am going to live to be 100, and I am going to show my thighs every day till I die.” [Page Six]

Facebook Does Fashion: How often do you ‘like’ something on Facebook that you also really want? The social network is reportedly testing a new button which offers users the option of “collect” and “want,” and certain products will have a link where people can directly purchase products. Victoria's Secret, Michael Kors, and Neiman Marcus are among the fashion brands reportedly working with Facebook. [Mashable]
