Lady Gaga is set to headline next year’s Super Bowl halftime show, the National Football League and sponsor Pepsi announced Thursday. The pop star confirmed the news on Twitter, writing, “It’s not an illusion. The rumors are true. This year the SUPER BOWL goes GAGA!” The show, at the NRG Stadium in Houston on Feb. 5, will be broadcast on Fox. Gaga performed the national anthem at the Super Bowl earlier this year. She’s due to release a new album, Joanne, on Oct. 21. Previous headliners include Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, and Coldplay.
