Lakers Fire Coach for Worst Season Ever

The Los Angeles Lakers announced late Sunday evening that they’ve parted ways with Coach Byron Scott following the team’s two worst seasons in franchise history. Despite being the retirement season of legendary Lakers star Kobe Bryant, the team lost a franchise record 65 games in the 2015-16 season, placing second-worst overall in the NBA. The 16-time NBA championship franchise previously set its worst-season record in 2014-15, with a 61-loss record.
