‘Lana Del Rey’ Addresses Backlash

Some say the singer Lana Del Rey delivered the worst musical performance ever on Saturday Night Live three weeks ago, but according to “Lana Del Rey” herself, there was a very good explanation for that. “I'm stiff, distant, and weird,” a redhead with puffy lips said on Saturday night's “Weekend Update” segment of the show, addressing the backlash. It was, of course, Kristen Wiig doing an impression of the singer. “Based on the public’s response I must have clubbed a baby seal while singing the Taliban national anthem,” the impostor said. If only the real musician would make fun of herself like that, all would be forgiven.
