Can we move on now? The International Cycling Union decided Monday that it would not appeal the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency’s decision in the doping case against Lance Armstrong. The cyclist will be stripped of all seven of his Tour de France titles and be slapped with a lifetime ban against competing in Olympic sports. The decision not to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport almost definitely means that the Armstrong case is finally closed. “Lance Armstrong has no place in cycling,” International Cycling Union president Pat McQuaid told reporters Monday.
