It only took five minutes for Adam Lanza to kill 26 children and teachers at Sandy Hook Elementary School, before turning the gun on himself and taking his own life. Search warrants issued after the massacre released Thursday offer grisly details of the event as well as further information about Lanza’s gun-obsessed personal life. Massive amounts of ammunition in a gun safe, swords, and a bulletproof vest were found in Lanza’s home—in what is believed to be his bedroom. A loaded shotgun was found in the passenger compartment of the car Lanza drove to the school. The documents also reveal that Lanza was wearing bulletproof and military-style clothes when he was found dead.
