Congressman Ralph Hall, 91, lost his bid for the Republican nomination to a Tea Partier on Tuesday night, effectively ending his 34-year stay in Congress. Hall will be the last World War II veteran in Congress, as fellow veteran John Dingell (D-MI) announced his retirement in February. Hall went down in a runoff after failing to win 50 percent of the vote in March.
