If the Latin American Music Awards aren’t a hallmark of the music awards calendar yet, they might be after Thursday, October 6th.

Back for a second year, the 2016 Latin AMAs will have no shortage of superstar talent. Hosted by Mexican multi-platinum singer Lucero, the show will also feature performances by Pitbull and Idina Menzel.

The awards show will be hosted at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on Telemundo.

The festivities will begin with a one-hour red carpet pre-show, “La Alfombra de Latin AMAs” at 7 p.m. ET, followed by the main show, which will feature English and Spanish-language music stars.

Set to perform on Thursday are Becky G (who sings the guilty pleasure “Shower”), Yandel, Sofía Reyes, Miguel Bosé, Gente de Zona, and La Santa Cecilia. The show will also feature a special tribute to honor late Mexican singer-songwriter Juan Gabriel.

The top nominees this year are Yandel and Banda MS, each with six noms. Nicky Jam and Enrique Iglesias each have five nominations, including ‘Artist of the Year,’ while J Balvin and Los Plebes de Ariel Camacho round out the top nominees with four nods each.

Additionally, as Billboard announced this week, Enrique Iglesias is officially the artist with the most number one songs in the history of the Hot Latin Songs chart with a total of 27 chart-topping singles; we’ll see if he can add a few Latin American Music Awards to his collection.

Other big-name nominees include Shakira, up for ‘Favorite Female Artist– Pop/Rock,’ The Chainsmokers feat. Daya, “Don’t Let Me Down” for ‘Favorite Dance Song,’ Chino & Nacho feat. Daddy Yankee, “Andas en Mi Cabeza” for ‘Favorite Song– Pop/Rock,’ and Nicky Jam’s “Hasta El Amanecer” for ‘Single of the Year.’

So tune in for some fun performances, awesome style, and great music at the 2016 Latin American Music Awards at 7 p.m. ET on October 6, 2016.
