A law firm advising President-elect Donald Trump was recently honored as the “Russian Law Firm of the Year” by a London-based publication. Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, the corporate law firm advising Trump on how to handle his business conflicts, was recognized for its reported work in the country. The law firm, which employs more than 40 attorneys in its Moscow office, announced the recognition in a May 2016 news release. Trump's relationship with Russian clients and contacts with the Kremlin have come under extreme scrutiny since he decided to throw his hat into the ring for the presidency. Tuesday reports by CNN and BuzzFeed both claimed that the country has compromising sexual and financial information about the real-estate mogul and president-elect; the latter outlet published an unverified dossier alleging explicit sexual acts and financial arrangements.
