LeBron James told reporters that both the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors don’t want to visit the White House if they win the NBA Finals, according to Sports Illustrated. The Cavaliers star said he was not surprised when President Donald Trump disinvited the Philadelphia Eagles from the White House Super Bowl celebration. “That's typical of him,” James said. “I know no matter who wins this series, no one wants to go anyway.” The player went on, telling the Eagles to not “let someone uninviting you from their house take away from their championship.” “Winning a championship is way bigger than getting invited to the White House, especially with him in it,” James added. This comes as the Cavs and the Golden State Warriors are headed to Game Three of the 2018 NBA Finals.
