Rich Cronin, the frontman for 1990s boy band LFO, lost his battle to leukemia on Wednesday, TMZ reports. Cronin, who wrote the band’s hit 1999 single “Summer Girls,” suffered a stroke, according to his brother. He was diagnosed with leukemia in 2005 and appeared on VH1’s reality show Mission: Man Band in 2007 when he was in remission. Cronin reportedly passed away in a hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
