Libya Releases Times Journalists

Libya has released the four New York Times journalists who were captured six days ago while reporting from Ajdabiya. The four had entered Libya from Egypt without visas and were captured by Muammar Gaddafi’s forces. The journalists were Anthony Shadid, a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner; photographer Lynsey Addario, who recently photographed George Clooney for the cover of Newsweek; Stephen Farrell, who was kidnapped previously by the Taliban; and photographer Tyler Hicks.
