British authorities have arrested a Libyan man in southeast London in connection to a policewoman’s death outside the Libyan embassy more than 30 years ago. Yvonne Fletcher was killed by a shot fired from inside the embassy in 1984 while working during an anti-Gaddafi demonstration, Scotland Yard investigators said. The murder led to an 11-day siege of the embassy and the end of diplomatic ties with Tripoli. Authorities say this is the most significant arrest made in the case yet.
