Meanwhile, Muammar Gaddafi’s son Saif al-Islam said in a radio broadcast Wednesday that forces loyal to his father will continue fighting to defend Tripoli—but other reports from the capital said Saif is in secret negotiations to surrender. There were other signs of internal strife: Minutes before Saif’s speech, his brother Saadi said they will be negotiating with interim authorities to end the fighting in Libya.
