Lieberman's Approval Tanks

Even independents hate him.

According to a new poll from Public Policy Polling, Joe Lieberman’s unpopular with, well, just about everyone in his state. In Connecticut, 81 percent of Democrats disapprove of Lieberman’s performance, but, more surprisingly, so do 48 percent of Republicans (vs. 39 percent who approve) and 61 percent of independents (vs. 32 percent who approve.) His overall marks: 25 percent approval vs. 67 percent disapproval. Only 19 percent of Connecticut voters like what he did on health care, vs. 68 percent who oppose it.
