The Daily Beast’s true-crime piece about the rigged McDonald’s Monopoly game—which was recently scooped up by Hollywood—is now available in audio form. The story, written by Jeff Maysh, tells the story of how ex-police officer Jerome Jacobson, who was head of security for a company that produced the pieces for the McDonald’s Monopoly game, stole winning pieces and sold them. Jacobson made millions, doling out pieces to mobsters, drug traffickers, strip-club owners, and psychics.
