LIVE: Inside Trump’s Head Election Special

Joanna Coles and Michael Wolff are revealing what the election results are doing to Trump.

Live

The Daily Beast’s hit Inside Trump’s Head podcast is going live for election night—meaning Joanna Coles and Michael Wolff are delivering their peerless insights in real time.

The action starts at 8 p.m. EST, just in time for the biggest results from the key polls to being rolling in.

But Inside Trump’s Head: Live will not get stuck in the boring weeds or caught up in breathless coverage of races which don’t really matter. Instead Coles, the Daily Beast’s Chief Content Officer, and Wolff, the definitive chronicler of the Trump era, will dive into what it really means for Trump himself.

“Here at Inside Trump’s Head, we are expecting the unexpected!” Coles said. “Shock, awe, surprises galore, and of course dramatic unthinkable defeats and unpredicted victories. Tension, high drama, and ridiculously high stakes!”

Wolff will bring his bestselling knowledge of exactly how the people’s verdict will play out inside Trump’s chaotic White House—and what was going on inside his head when he told voters that he was on the ballot.

Trump's final campaign appearance—a rambling speech in front of the Reflecting Pool whose repair he badly botched—is also on the agenda as Coles and Wolff go Inside Trump's Head: Live at 8 p.m. on election night.

Also on the agenda, who he will be surrounding himself with as he watches the results at the White House, and whether he actually gets nervous.

Coles and Wolff will unpack all the big moments that got us here, including what was going on at the Trump rallies, and exactly why he installed candidates including Darline Graham (South Carolina) and Ken Paxton (Texas) in defiance of his own party.

Looks-obsessed Trump has repeatedly slighted Ken Paxton’s appearance.

Why did Trump install Ken Paxton in Texas, and what will it mean? Coles and Wolff will answer the question on Inside Trump's Head: Live.

Both Coles—called a “retard” by the White House’s Steven Cheung—and Wolff—called a “lying sack of s--t” by the same Cheung—have placed their bets on what’s going to happen to the eight most contentious Senate seats. And there are only two of those seats where they agree on the outcome—in Ohio and Alaska—so they will be keeping score as they go along on what happens in South Carolina, Texas, Maine, Michigan, Iowa, and Kansas, to see which of them comes out on top.

And both Coles and Wolff will be reacting in real time to your questions and comments. So please don’t hold back on your thoughts in the live chat on YouTube, where our Inside Trump’s Head community is consistently insightful, incisive, and intelligent, often hilarious, and always warm and welcoming.
